Arctic
We deliver off-grid solutions to Arctic settlements.
Access to electricity in the Arctic is rarely good. It is not uncommon for generators to run 24 hours a day to produce electricity. This is both expensive and environmentally unfriendly.
Our diesel hybrid solutions are tailored to provide Arctic settlements with a more sustainable and efficient energy solution. By reducing the running time of diesel generators, our customers experience significantly lower diesel consumption, noise, exhaust and maintenance. This means not only a more environmentally friendly solution, but also a more cost-effective and reliable energy supply.
To optimize the energy system, it is common to connect a photovoltaic system to produce your own green energy during the hours of sunshine.
Tourist cabins
We supply energy systems to the professional cabin market
Due to the distance to the electricity grid and the relatively expensive investment of connecting to the grid, many cabins do not have electricity. With a photovoltaic system, tourists can have access to electricity without compromising on performance or comfort.
We have developed a solution for tourist cabins that consists of a photovoltaic system, controller and battery bank. The solution makes it easy to store surplus power from the photovoltaic system, reduce the use of diesel generators and ensure access to emergency power.

Store Norske
In 2021, a battery and solar cell system was installed at Isfjord Radio in Svalbard. The installation is part of a pilot project aimed at halving the company’s annual diesel consumption of 200,000 liters. The energy system consists of a 403 kWh battery bank and a 220 kWp photovoltaic system.
CO2 savings: 672,000 kg/year
Annual solar production: 133,000 kWh/year
Stavanger Tourist Association
In the summer of 2020, Stavanger Tourist Association installed a new renewable energy system for Stranddalen tourist cabin. The solar cell system is 50 kWp with a battery bank of 115 kWh.
