Due to the distance to the electricity grid and the relatively expensive investment of connecting to the grid, many cabins do not have electricity. With a photovoltaic system, tourists can have access to electricity without compromising on performance or comfort. <\/p>\n
We have developed a solution for tourist cabins that consists of a photovoltaic system, controller and battery bank. The solution makes it easy to store surplus power from the photovoltaic system, reduce the use of diesel generators and ensure access to emergency power. <\/p>\n

Store Norske<\/h4>\n
In 2021, a battery and solar cell system was installed at Isfjord Radio in Svalbard. The installation is part of a pilot project aimed at halving the company’s annual diesel consumption of 200,000 liters. The energy system consists of a 403 kWh battery bank and a 220 kWp photovoltaic system. <\/p>\n
